Virginia Highland
 | Virginia Highland - Just east of the Midtown area, from Monroe (right at
the park) take Virginia Ave. up to Highland Ave.
 | A great walking neighborhood. Some of the best shopping, cafes
and restaurants in Atlanta. A pretty
good bar scene with Limerick Junction, The Dark Horse Tavern and Blind
Willie's. Populated by the 30-something crowd. |
|
Midtown
 | Midtown - The midtown area extends from North Ave. up to 16th St. and from
West Peachtree street over to Monroe Ave.
 | Piedmont Park - take either 10th or 14th to Piedmont and there is
the park. However, the best parking is further down on 10th, just
behind The Park Tavern on Monroe. The park is safe and a great
deal of fun in the summer, when people are out biking, roller-blading or
just taking a stroll. |
 | The Fox Theatre, The High Museum of Art, coffee shops, clubs, and
excellent restaurants populate Midtown. |
|
Little Five Points/Candler Park
 | Little Five Points - at the corner of Moreland and McLendon
 | Populated by Generation "Y", this is the best place to find
clubbing clothes, new age crystals and vintage clothing. Good,
cheap eats (Front Page
News' has a new location here) and people watching. |
|
 | Candler Park/Lake Claire
 | Young professionals and renovated bungalows. |
|
Decatur
 | Affordable, suburban community with a charming town square.
Convenient to downtown. |
Downtown Lofts
 | Be an urban pioneer and enjoy skyline views. From luxury
penthouses to the funky and eclectic, something for everyone. |
